The house has casual, island-style furnishings and offers panoramic ocean views over Maunalua Bay toward Diamond Head and the mountains beyond. The lower level consists of the garage, the pool and pool deck and stairs that lead up to the front door entry. The pool at Hale Ohana is solar heated to help maintain a comfortable temperature level. There is also ample seating on the pool deck from which to sunbathe or to simply enjoy the gorgeous views. The second level of the house has a large ocean view living room/lower den area with cable TV, VCR and a game table for cards or board games. Also on the second level is the kitchen, a half-bath and a generously-sized dining room that seats 8 - 10 persons and opens onto an ocean view deck which has lounge chairs and table seating for 8 persons. In combination these areas provide a wonderfully convenient and relaxing atmosphere in which families and friends can enjoy the indoor/outdoor Hawaiian lifestyle. All of the bedrooms are on the upper level of the house with the master suite occupying a corner position where one side consists entirely of sliding glass doors and provides some of Oahu's best views of the ocean, mountains and gorgeous sunsets over Diamond Head in the distance. The other two bedrooms and the upstairs den/sleeping area are separated from the master suite by the stairwell from the living/dining areas. Hale Ohana is convenient to shopping, theaters and restaurants in the Koko Marina section of Hawaii Kai (less than 1 mile) and the location is less than 10 miles east of Waikiki. Other nearby activities and attractions include Hanauma Bay, Sandy Beach and Makapuu Beach; jet skiing or water skiing and other water sports in Koko Marina; Sea Life Park at Makapuu; two golf courses in Hawaii Kai and the oceanfront Maunalua Tennis Center. Any unregistered individuals will be considered unauthorized, and additional fees of $100 per person per day may be charged. For trash pick up days, please check the information book located at the home. Please put garbage out the night before, or before 6 am on these days. Hawaii does not have curbside recycling. All trash must be bagged. Make sure the large gray garbage can is placed outside the gates and on the street. This is essential in order to keep tropical pests away from the home. Failure to remove your trash from the property before your departure will result in appropriate deductions from your security deposit, or additional charges if exceeding security deposit waiver coverage. ·There will be NO PETS in the home or on the property at any time.·There will be NO SMOKING in the home.·There will be NO CATERING OR OUTSIDE MUSIC PERMITTED without the prior written consent of the owners.·There will be NO FIRES on the beach.·MAXIMUM number of vehicles allowed on or in front of property: TWO·There will be NO SUBLETTING or ASSIGNING to other parties.·THE ENTIRE DEPOSIT SHALL BE FORFEITED IF GUEST(S) VIOLATE ANY OF THESE TERMS AND WILL BE LIABLE FOR ADDITIONAL DAMAGES IF THE AMOUNT EXCEEDS THE SECURITY DEPOSIT AMOUNT.·All Guests are responsible for adhering to the preceding Terms and Conditions.
